Commission Rules/TOS

Please commission only if you read, agreed, and understood to my terms of service.

Payment

​

  • Payment through Paypal only. 

  • My email is (detectiveee.chan@gmail.com)         

    • ​detectiveee with the 3 e's!

  • I will start on commissions AFTER I receive 100% or 50% of the payment. If paying half, pay the remaining 50% FIRST when I tell you the commission is done. THEN I will send you the finished commission.

  • Initial payment must be made within 72 hours after confirmation of request. If not made on-time, the commission will be cancelled.

Communication / Revisions

  • A WIP/sketch is always given after sketch is finished for review! (does not apply to Sketch commissions)

  • Extra detailed characters will charge extra or will be simplified if you do not want to pay extra. 

  • You can make changes if the WIP is still in sketch form.

  • This chance is given once or twice, depending on # of corrections.

  • You cannot make changes when I'm already coloring/lining.

  • Rude/disrespectful/abusive commissioners will have their commission immediately canceled with a refund based on how much of the artwork was completed already.

  • Ask any questions about anything!! Please, it is your commission and don't be afraid to ask for multiple revisions/changes. (Just make sure to ask them early!)

Order Processing

  • Only pay after I accept your commission.

  • Colored references are accepted only. No descriptions. Black and white references are okay only if you are ordering Monochrome sketch commissions. If you really don't have a colored reference, using Picrew is an option.

  • I have the right to refuse any requests if I am not comfortable with the request, as well as keep artworks in private.

Customer Satisfaction
​

  • Any mistakes made on my behalf (e.g. misread description, missed a detail, etc) I will correct free of charge. However if the mistake is as a result of insufficient information, bad reference or not mentioned to me when I accepted your commission, I am not obliged to correct or change anything for you. 

  • If however, you wish to request for a significant change (a mistake that isn't on my behalf) I may or may not change it for you. If I happen to accept your request, there will be a fee depending on how big the change is. (20%-50% of the original price) (Ex: change whole character, outfit, pose, etc.)  

  • Under no circumstances will I ever redraw an entire commission (if past the revision stage!!) Please state everything clearly and in full detail when ordering as I do it exactly as stated. If you insist on a redraw no matter what, you will simply have to commission me again and keep your current commission.

Deadlines & Refunds/Cancellations

  • You may set a deadline if you wish but it must be reasonable. I am a full-time student so I do not have the full 24/7 to work on your art piece. 

    • Regular wait is 2-3 weeks / Max wait is 3 months

  • If you need the commission earlier, it can be discussed, but I must have at least 1 week to draw the commission if it is a Fully-colored piece.

  • Please be respectful and have patience. It takes a while for me to finish drawing since I'm a bit of a perfectionist x'D

  • Commissioners can receive a full refund if I have not started your commission at all and waited long in the Waiting List

  • You may cancel your commission after I started but the refund amount will depend on how much I have completed. I will still send the incomplete art piece over. (AND NO, do not be a troll and pay for half and cancel halfway JUST TO GET A SKETCH)

  • If I have completed the piece already, there are ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.

Permissions & Copyright

  • I have full rights over my artwork. I may use commissions for future piece samples.

  • The commissioner is NOT permitted to edit/modify/TRACE, distribute, repost, MAKE MERCHANDISE, claim credit, or use for advertising. All artworks are PERSONAL use only. If you want an artwork for commercial use, there is a fee. Please state so in the beginning of the commission.

  • If the artwork commissioned by you is to be posted somewhere for personal use (e.g. tumblr, fb, twitter, etc), please credit me somewhere visible with a link that redirects/mentions my username back to any of my social media handles.
     

  • If sharing my art via social media PLEASE upload the ver. with MY SIGNATURE on it, since I do give you a version with no signature (TO PREVENT THEFT- you don't want anyone to steal art of your lovely character!)

  • It is your responsibility to save the image after I have sent you the link. I like to periodically clear my google drive therefore if you do not save the image, I may not be able to retrieve it for you.

  • Don't worry, I will always ask you to save your images before I delete.
